Irina Ojovan
Over the past years Irina Ojovan developed a formal language equally in painting and sculpture that has its own abstract quality.
The spectrum of her paintings can be described as an aesthetic field of tension that oscillates between monochrome hard edge and subtly shaded color field.
Her minimal sculptures look like sharp drawings, iconic sketches that interact with the surrounding space.
